How is SSC/HSC GPA calculated in Bangladesh?
Add up the grade points of all your subjects (A+=5.00, A=4.00, A-=3.50, B=3.00, C=2.00, D=1.00, F=0.00), subtract 2.00 from your 4th/optional subject's grade point if it's B or higher, then divide by the total number of subjects. If any subject is an F, the overall GPA is 0.00. Switch the grading system above to "Bangladesh — SSC / HSC" and this calculator applies these rules automatically.
How is GPA calculated?
GPA is calculated by multiplying each course's credit hours by its grade point, adding those totals together, then dividing by the total number of credit hours. This calculator does that automatically as you enter grades.
What is the difference between GPA and CGPA?
GPA usually refers to your grade point average for a single semester or term, while CGPA (cumulative GPA) averages your grade points across all semesters you've completed so far.
How do I calculate a weighted GPA?
A weighted GPA accounts for course difficulty (such as honors or AP classes) by adding extra grade points on top of the standard scale. Use the Custom Scale option to define grade points that reflect your school's weighting policy.
